I’m Joanna Green, Certified Lactation Counselor, postpartum doula and Craniosacral & Myofascial Release Therapist. I know the transition of adding a baby can be quite the adjustment, whether it’s your first or you’ve done this a few times already. If you’re struggling with that transition, especially with feeding your baby, I want you to know that you aren’t alone. I breastfed my two sons with varying levels of frustration, pain, happiness and joy — sometimes all at once! In 2021, after casually giving friends advice on breastfeeding, I realized that I had a real passion for helping others in this way, so I completed the Certified Lactation Counselor course through the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice. Through my pregnancies, I found Craniosacral & Myofascial Release Therapy to ease some of the discomfort I had and in 2023, decided to add this service to my practice as well. Along with having my Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, I also have various experience working in medical offices such as eye clinics, physical therapy clinics and as a certified personal trainer.
